Egypt is a market of 120 million people, with energy demand rising year after year. Yet beyond meeting domestic needs, our strategy centers on accelerating upstream activity, both oil and gas, to boost production from existing fields and drive new exploration that unlocks future reserves in Egypt and across the wider East Mediterranean. We are investing in our midstream and downstream infrastructure to support partners in monetizing hydrocarbons, whether through petrochemicals to create value-added products at our refineries, or through our export terminals to deliver energy to regional and global markets. As well as channeling gas into value-added domestic industries, our collaboration with Cyprus is an example of enabling Egyptian infrastructure to bring East Med gas to global markets, demonstrating again how Egypt is positioning itself as a platform for regional growth. Another strategic pillar is mining and critical minerals, with the country working to extract the raw materials as well as using that as a tool to develop local industry. Finally, and equally important, is the people element, safeguarding health, safety, and climate stewardship, as technology and AI continue to reshape the sector.
